On May 14th & 15th, 2009, the CAN Fund and Shaw presented 5 athletes on our waitlist with a cheque for $6000 each in a "surprise" presentation to put towards their training, coaching, nutrition, equipment and basic living expenses as they strive to represent Canada!

More than 400 items, 200 volunteers, 70 athletes and viewers from across Canada came together on November 16, 2008, to raise a total of $300,000 for Canadian athletes!
Shaw, CAN Fund and Lions Clubs from across Canada wish to thank everyone who participated in making our country's first ever live televised auction for Canadian athletes a success.If you missed the televised auction but would like to make a donation, Shaw will still match up to $350,000.
