 Melanie Moore was a part of the Scotia Capital Fixed Income Research team since 1988, when she joined as an Index Associate, assisting with the operation of the Scotia Capital Bond Indices (now known as the DEX Bond Indices). In 1989, she took on the role of Index Analyst and began to oversee the complete operation and maintenance of the entire family of Scotia Capital Bond Indices. In this capacity, she initiated the change of frequency of the Index to daily from weekly as well as creating a host of new Indices that Canadian investors have come to rely on. Over the past few years, Melanie became an invaluable resource for clients, who looked to her for her vast knowledge on all aspects of the Index. Recently, she joined the TSX Datalinx Group as a product manager in charge of third party content. Heavily involved in charities & other initiatives, she has been a part of the Women in Capital Markets association for years along with being an active Red Cross platelet donator.
Ms. Moore holds a BA in Economics from the University of Windsor.
